Job: Safety Managers - Logistics, Ocado

Ocado is one of the fastest growing internet retailers in the UK. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for experienced and talented individuals to join our Risk Management Team who will help shape and promote a positive safety culture within our business.

We are currently seeking to appoint Safety Professionals who can lead a team of advisors to ensure that health and safety is at the top of everyone’s agenda.

As a brand new role to our business, you will have the opportunity to design and manage health and safety campaigns to promote engagement with all members of staff, implement and progress safety plans, and to assist with the effective deployment of health and safety policies and procedures. You will also be expected to provide advice and guidance to management teams with regards to health and safety issues and concerns.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You must also be self-motivated, driven and be able to work under pressure. Ideally, experience within a transport and multisite operation is preferable, although experience in distribution will be considered. A NEBOSH qualification is essential and being a member of IOSH would be an advantage.
