Job: Health and Safety/Quality Systems Manager, Vitec Group

Our customers range from the major networks such as the BBC, CBS and CNN in Hollywood film studios and individual freelance cameramen.

The following new opportunity has arisen at our site in Bury St Edmunds:

Health and Safety/Quality Systems Manager

To ensure continued compliance and introduce global corporate systems, processes and competences in these key areas:

Key responsibilities include:

- Advising on, and promoting HSE and QA policies and objectives;

- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders, clients, staff and professional bodies;

- Identifying individual responsibilities and managing training needs for staff;

- Driving continuous improvement in HSE practices and procedures and implementing action plans;

- Ensuring continued compliance with existing QA standards (ISO9001 2000) whilst working to deliver a global corporate certificate/approval;

- Improving the global efficiency and effectiveness of the Quality system and procedures.

To succeed in this position you must have proven experience in a senior HSE role and current working knowledge of HSE legislation. You must also hold a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and ideally IOSH membership. In addition, you must be a qualified Systems Auditor with full experience in quality management systems, with a background in an engineering environment. This role will also require your strong command of English, excellent communication skills and a full UK driving licence.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced HSE/QA professional looking for an interesting and rewarding challenge. Limited international travel is expected in this role.

* Hours of work: 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-1.30pm Fri
