Responsible for EHS at Warwickshire (UK)
GE Parts & Repair Services Warwickshire is a UK registered company which is part of General Electric Company (USA). The Service Centre employs 93 people and is involved in the manufacture and repair of various gas and steam turbine components. Typical processes include milling, grinding, electro-chemical machining, electro-discharge machining and welding.
This is an exciting and demanding role and will require you to liaise at all levels within a multinational environment. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of risk assessments, inspections, training and daily monitoring, combined with providing professional proactive legislative advice.
You will ensure that corrective actions are taken when necessary and actively drive our continuous improvement programs providing guidance on good safe practice and coaching on the development of a truly safety conscious culture.
You will need to bring to the role the highest levels of personal commitment and a real passion for driving improvement, combined with the ability to engage and influence people at all levels. A confident, persuasive, diplomatic team player, with strong IT and communication skills you should be IOSH accredited with at least NEBOSH Diploma certification and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Above all, you need to have impact and presence to match your professional skills and knowledge.
