Furmanite International LTD is a world leading provider of on-site engineering services providing major UK and overseas customers with state of the art engineered solutions. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HSQE Manager to join our team based at our Head Office in the Lake District, whose role will be to exercise effective Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental leadership throughout the Company to meet legal, customer, and Company requirements.
This is a challenging hands-on role managing and co-ordinating all activities related to the implementation, development and maintenance of the Company’s HSQE systems. To ensure continuous improvement we are seeking a professional who will initiate and drive through changes to support growth, implement robust systems, maintain a strong safety culture and build positive working relationships both internally and externally. The successful candidate will be responsible that the HSQE Team deliver the S&Q Plans whilst developing new ideas and setting behaviour standards throughout the business. Domestic circumstances must allow for regular travel throughout the UK including overnight stays as well as occasional visits overseas.
Candidates must be appropriately qualified holding a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and with IOSH membership. In addition, you must be a qualified auditor with full experience in ISO quality management systems, with a background in an engineering environment. Previous management experience is desirable with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the business. A passion for HSQE coupled with energy, drive, attention to detail and customer relationship skills are essential for this role.
