Job: Safety and Risk Consultant - Petrochemical Industry, Sentinel Health & Safety

An international multi-disciplinary engineering and design consultancy are seeking a Senior Safety and Risk Specialist to join their expanding environment team. The firm are involved in a diverse range of major construction projects worldwide but the focus of this position is on the Petrochemical and Chemical industries. The environment team’s expertise covers a wide range of areas including soil, water, air, wastes and noise and our consultants have an in-depth knowledge of environmental technology, legislation, regulations, management systems and communications.

It is anticipated that the succesful candidate will possess experience of the oil and gas and/or chemicals sector, with a sound knowledge of in COMAH, PPC, HAZID/HAZOP, QRA, safety case preparation and SMS. You will need a good understanding of the regulatory framework but also practical experience of operational safety. Success in developing business is essential and international experience would be desirable.
