LRQA is a leading provider of quality, environmental and safety management systems certification services in the UK and overseas. As part of the Lloyd’s Register Group, we offer our services worldwide through a network of around 240 offices.
We are the only certification body to have full UKAS OHSAS accreditation within the UK and Europe. To satisfy immediate demand, LRQA is looking to recruit a high quality assurance professional who may be able to use his/her past experience in environmental or quality system implementation to undergo cross-training into assessment of these products in the future.
You will be carrying out assessments, surveillance and approvals for our customers against the relevant health and safety standards. A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of hazards and their occupational health and safety risks, including relevant legislation and OHSAS 18001, is essential.
Ideally BSc or MSc degree qualified, you will hold at least a NEBOSH Diploma or the equivalent in OH&S. This will be complemented by at least five years’ health and safety management experience, probably gained through broad exposure to one of the major hazard industry sectors. You will also possess the confidence to convey your findings to senior managers in large, blue-chip organisations.
The position is home-based but will involve travel, mainly throughout your region but occasionally abroad, including regular periods away from home.
Please apply with a copy of your CV, a covering letter and your current salary details, by email only to: HRTEAM@LRQA.COM
