This role is for an energetic person who is able to work efficiently, communicate clearly and show pride in their work. You will need to be concise, motivated and enthusiastic.
The qualifications we are looking for are the NEBOSH general certificate as an absolute minimum but preference is for the NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ 4 in Health and Safety. Candidates will need to be CMIOSH or GradIOSH status, TechIOSH will be considered if experience is exceptional.
Health and Safety dominates this role but experience in Environmental is also essential, Quality experience is preferred but training can be given.
Ideally you will have a background in warehousing, distribution, logistics or experience in an industry that will enable you to transfer your skills across easily.
Training experience is essential, preferably Health and Safety training. Dangerous goods experience is preferred but not essential.
The right candidate for this role will be able to review and implement new management systems and have an excellent technical understanding. You will need to be able to work independently and with others, you will also need to be open to change.
This is a regional role that will require travel from the West Midlands to the North West of the UK so a full UK drivers licence is essential.
