Environmental Health and Safety Technical Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) professional to join one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers. We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual with a sound understanding of the EHS issues affecting the industry. You will ensure full compliance of existing, as well as new materials and industrial processes, with corporate and regulatory requirements.

In this specialist role, you will be responsible for the identification and tracking of any hazardous substances and materials in line with the REACH Compliance Programme for the company. This will include monitoring applicable regulations and completion of EHS evaluations for materials used in design and manufacturing. Your excellent communication skills will help you provide general advice and raise awareness of key procedures among all local function representatives and transnational teams involved in the compliance programme.

Ideally, you will hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) and/or have substantial expertise in Materials Engineering and/or Chemistry, preferably with demonstrable experience of the aerospace industry.
