Job: Senior Environment Officer, Convert Recruitment

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced environmentalist to work for a prestige civil engineering company on projects varying from highways and rail to infrastructure and utilities.

This is a senior position within the environmental team and as such requires extensive experience in a similar role preferably within highways or rail. You will ensure EMS design and compliance on new and existing sites as well as developing procedures and guidelines on pollution, incident prevention, investigation and root cause analysis. There is a large amount of data collection with regular site audits and inspections to be maintained of which you will mentor, advise and assist junior members of the team.

You will ideally be degree qualified in some environmental discipline with some form of IEMA membership, a strong working knowledge of ISO14001 and if possible hold a trained auditor qualification.
