We are looking for a Health, Safety, Environment and Energy Co-ordinator to join the Project Team within the Supply Chain side of business of Alpro UK based in Kettering.

This role reports to the Site’s Project Manager and will be responsible for the health, safety, environment and energy aspects of the business. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the Company is fully compliant with the relevant legislation. This role will involve leading projects in these areas to ensure legal compliance; to promote best practice; to maintain and improve on the IS0 14000 standard; to lead the site towards the OSHA 18000 accreditation in 2012; to reduce energy consumption as much as possible and to ensure the effective management and recycling of waste from the site.
To enable you to undertake this role effectively, you will need to be competent in process or mechanical engineering to degree level or equivalent; have a sound operational knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and best practice; understand energy requirements; have effective project management skills; have good communication skills and the ability to problem solve effectively.
