A health and safety specialist, you'll be responsible for safety requirements across our Gaydon and Whitley operations. This is a key role with a varied remit. Delivering health and safety management systems requirements, your responsibilities will range from monitoring operational safety performance, through supporting 18001, liability claims and internal audit activities, to developing procedures and processes, and developing guidelines for office environments. Interpreting legislation, providing legal guidance and general support, you'll liaise and consult with safety representatives, local committees and external authorities. Proactively leading the development of a safety culture, you'll also coordinate training.

A Corporate Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, you are qualified with a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, together with a degree. An engineering qualification will be an advantage, but is not essential. Safety related project management experience is vital. As you'll travel between sites, you'll also need a driving licence.
