Job: QHSE Manager - UK&I, RAW Group

Sandhurst, Berkshire - Permanent Position

This is an exciting time to work with RAW Group. With our network of offices and response centres, we are the leading spill response and remediation contractor in UK & Ireland. Are you a QHSE Manager who has a great attitude, vision and passion? Our vision is to be the leader in pollution response and remediation, both here and internationally.

This role, based from Sandhurst, is to provide support to the development of the Quality, H&S and Environmental culture working closely with project teams throughout the UK&I.  It will also champion implementation of management systems, support projects, develop and review QHSE plans and assist with communicating new legislation and initiatives throughout the business.

You will drive RAW's commitment to "Valuing our People" across all of its offices & response centres (approx. 100 staff).  We offer the same level of commitment to all site owners/occupiers, contractors and the public at the hundreds of sites that we deal with each year.  You will help us attain OHSAS 18001 accreditation within the coming year. You will also help us plan and manage the deployment of staff on various international assignments including projects in Poland and China.

We believe that the ideal candidate will come from a building, civils or engineering background.

Essentials:

• Pragmatic and reliable.
• Level 6/Degree H&S Qualification.
• Construction experience
• Member of IOSH or equivalent
• Management experience in ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Desired:

• Fire safety qualification
• Training qualification
