Health & Safety Manager

We require a Health & Safety Manager with experience from a site based or construction led career, who is keen to move their career to the client side. Working for a developer in central London with a development pipeline of 3m sq/ft of mixed use projects.

Reporting to the Head of H&S, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a Health and Safety culture across construction sites as well as across the maintenance of their portfolio.

You will:

• Produce and run in-house H&S training, advising and educating at different levels and maintain contractor compliance
• Ensure all accidents are logged – ensuring the company complies with statutory obligations, and reporting statistics to the Board
• Create and maintain clearly defined Health and Safety site inspection reports and recommendations ensuring client and contractor safety management is fit for purpose in line with business activities
• Stay updated on all health and safety regulations and take full responsibility for the business to be ‘best in class’.

Ideally, you will be a people focused person with significant H&S experience within the built environment - commercial and/or construction.
