H&S Manager

A FMCG manufacturing organisation that is part of a multi-national organisation is looking for HSE Manager to work within one of their major operations in Manchester. The role will be working across a fast-paced site where you will be tasked with developing and maintaining robust Health & Safety processes and systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful organisation and will suit a pro-active H&S professional with the ability to influence and engage others.

The Role:

• Develop & Maintain the H&S culture – Working with key-stakeholders in helping them understand their role in HSE management
• To be a driving-force for H&S performance
• Support the senior management team in developing and maintaining a positive H&S culture
• Carry out training and audits on a regular basis

The Candidate:

• Hold (or working towards) the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
• A background in manufacturing (or similar) is essential
• Demonstrate the ability to engage and influence others
• Maintain a hands-on approach – The ability to build working relationships is vital
