Health and Safety Advisor role at a large Construction Contractor, Berkshire, £45K + car


Your new company
Our client is a leading Principal Contractor, operating mainly in the residential sector. In order to expand their HSE team, they are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor.

Your new role
You will report directly to the Group HSE Director, and will be responsible for a number of construction sites in the Berkshire region.
On a daily basis you will provide H&S support and guidance to Division/Regions when planning developments in order to mitigate H&S risks, work with Site Management teams to devise, plan and implement actions to improve standards on site, in accordance with existing policies and procedures, carry out regular site inspections, provide guidance and support by proactive site and workplace inspection and constructive assistance to provide compliance with Company H&S systems and standards.

You will act as a mentor and contribute to the full implementation of health and safety management system for the Division, to deliver continuous improvement of standards across the Division.

You will be responsible for a number (10 to 14) construction sites in the Berkshire region and will be based in the Berkshire office.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have significant previous experience similar HSE roles, within a variety of different industries (Construction is preferable). You will have NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent education and Grad IOSH membership.
