Health & Safety Manager
A cleaning company has a job for a Health & Safety Manager to work on a rail contract across Kent, £40-£45k
Your new company
A leading cleaning company with a longstanding contract with a train provider is looking for a Health & Safety Manager to be solely responsible for the safety of the workers on the contract and the relationship with the client.
Your new role
In this role you will be involved in the management of all the HSE policies, processes and systems across a large transport contract based in Kent. The operation is 24/7 with majority of work happening over the night so flexible working is essential. Main duties will include: conducting risk assessments and making improvement plans off the back of the findings, updating internal policies to ensure compliance to legislation is continuously high, leading training and attending site specific H&S meetings with the client's representatives.
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires someone who has substantial prior experience working on the rail and train network, with solid understanding of all risks and safety related issues with working on the track. As previously mentioned occasional night work will be required so flexibility with your working hours is essential. You will have the NEBOSH Certificate and be a minimum of TechIOSH.
