Our client, a high end Italian Restaurant Group is seeking a Group Compliance Manager to take the lead on Health and Safety for their sites across the UK. Working closely with HR and MD this stand alone role offers someone with a strong EHO and food background, the opportunity put their own mark and set the QHSE standards for this growing organisation. There is scope for progression within this company as they plan to open new sites year on year. The ability to build strong working relationships is key to success in this role.

The Role:




Plan, implement and manage works projects.


Liaise with external contractors, developer's, council and authorities.


Management of health and safety files and documents.


To ensure all stores are compliant.


Liaise with auditors and managers to ensure compliance across the group.


Ensure training and development takes place for all staff and managers.


Act as the quality, safety, health and environment management and be the technical support representative for the group.


Develop and implement control measures to mitigate potential risks and ensure staff are trained to understand hazards.


Develop and write processes and procedures and implement these in the company.


Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced.


Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.


Record incidents and accidents and produce statistics for managers and liaise with departments to rectify these.



The Candidate:


Experience in working with or for EHO.


Preferable experience in a hospitality compliance setting.


Preferred experience implementing training and development in hospitality or similar sectors.


IOSH / NEBOSH General Certificate examination pass gained in the last 5 years
