An engineering services company are seeking an SHEQ Manager to join their team. You will lead on SHEQ strategy and compliance across UK engineering and installation operations, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are in place.
You can be based from either the North Kent or East Staffordshire offices and will undertake national travel to support the role.
Prepare H&S strategies and develop internal policies
Undertake frequent audits and site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 systems
Advise on a range of specialist H&S areas e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise
Management of three Health and Safety Advisors
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
Experience as an SHEQ Manager within an engineering, installation or M&E environment, strong understanding of the risks within those areas
Lead or internal auditor qualified for ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001
European/International experience desirable
Proactive and practical approach
Driving licence, happy to travel nationally with occasional European travel
