If you are a passionate health and safety professional who is searching for an exciting opportunity to lead a Health and Safety team within a growing utilities company then look no further.
The successful candidate
Solid experience in managing a health and safety team is essential as you will be required to manage and monitor 7 direct reports.
This is the ideal position for somebody who has a strong background in developing and maintaining SHEQ Policies, managing the SHEQ input on tenders and pre-qualifications, leading behavioural safety programmes and has driven continuous improvement on all SHEQ Matters.
Previous experience in working for a utilities or construction organisation would be beneficial.
Knowledge and experience of developing and maintaining OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems is advantageous.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of a NEBOSH Diploma Certificate, NCRQ or equivalent and you will ideally hold a minimum of Grad IOSH status, working towards CMIOSH.
A UK driving licence is essential and the ability to be flexible and travel to various locations throughout the UK and is key.
