CDM/Health & Safety Advisor
Your new role
One of the UK's leading housing associations is in the market for a CDM/Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. This is a regional role covering The South of England from Kent and Sussex. As CDM/Health & Safety Advisor you will provide advice and guidance on CDM planned works as well as, supporting the property maintenance and investment teams with health and safety issues.
Your responsibilities will include being the responsible person for providing project level CDM risk assessments alongside carrying out inspections and audits. You will be client facing responsible for managing and facilitating good communication to manage expectations and ensure the project is delivered on time. You will manage, collate and deliver all pre-construction information across the group. You will be the point of contact regarding any updates on CDM regulations and will communicate any changes to the group. You will get involved in developing and delivering training where necessary on CDM regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate for this role will hold the minimum of the NEBOSH general certificate alongside the CDM 2015 certificate. Graduate IOSH and IMAPS will be beneficial however, not essential for the role. You must have extensive knowledge and previous experience with CDM. You must also have previous Health & Safety experience. Previous experience within housing is desirable.
