Health & Safety Advisor
Your new role
Health & Safety Advisor working for a leading housing association based across East London. You will be the responsible for providing advice and guidance on Health & Safety Compliance across all the business units and activities. You will be required to contribute to the on-going development and review of the company's policies and procedures as well as, developing and implementing a training programme. You will be heavily involved with carrying out audits, inspections, risk assessment, method statements and accident investigations. The business is very proactive with promoting a positive health and safety culture across the business where you will be require to developing new initiatives in order to continually improve safety culture. The company is also looking to develop and implement performance indicators to allow for improvements to be made. You will also be involved with Fire Safety and CDM regulations including construction site visits and inspections.
What you'll need to succeed
The successfully candidate for this post will have strong experience within the social housing industry and ideally hold the NEBOSH Diploma Certificate, or be working towards. You will have strong knowledge of Fire Safety and have a working understanding of CDM legislation.
