Regional Health and Safety Advisors

Location: Post holders will be based in the region they operate in. Final location will be discussed with the successful candidate, and consideration will be given to a home based arrangement

Permanent contract, 35 hours per week

Hanover is looking to recruit four regionally based Health and Safety Advisors. These are new roles, following the decision to expand our Health and Safety team.

The role offers a real opportunity to make a difference to organisational Health and Safety strategy and to work with key stakeholders to devise and implement policy and approach

Who we need

We are looking for people who are passionate about Health and Safety and are champions for change and compliance. We are seeking individuals, who have experience in a similar role, carry out audits and with knowledge of specialist areas such as fire risk, water management and asbestos.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant professional qualifications such as NEBOSH certificate, fire risk assessment
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • A flexible approach with the ability and willingness to travel at short notice with occasional overnight stays

What you’ll be doing

Within this role, you will work closely with operational housing and property teams to provide health and safety advice and a monitoring service to ensure Hanover maintains a safe environment for our residents.
