Health and Safety Associate Writer (FTC)
A registered charity is seeking a Health and Safety Associate Writer for a 12-month fixed term contract (FTC) to cover maternity leave. In this role the successful candidate will create technical H&S content; this will include the revision of existing content in addition to the development of new material. The content can range from basic to A-level and will include publications, presentations, abstracts, press releases and research summaries.
This position would be an excellent fit for a recent graduate in a Health and Safety or related degree, who is looking to utilise their technical knowledge and excellent written skills. However, this role could also be a strong fit for someone holding the NEBOSH General Certificate with equivalent hands on safety experience.
Create a range of technical H&S content targeted at various audiences
Keep up to date with H&S legislation and knowledge, use this to make suggestions on how to improve content.
Respond to health and safety enquiries from stakeholders as required.
Degree in Health and Safety or similar subject, or hold the NEBOSH General Certificate and equivalent practical experience
AIOSH or Tech IOSH membership
Highly motivated, looking to make a positive impact on the H&S industry
