The successful candidate

This is the ideal position for somebody who has fantastic relationship building skills, a solid background in engaging with members of staff on all levels and somebody who possess strong influencing techniques.

Previous experience in a Health and Safety position within a warehouse, logistics or transport /fleet environment is essential.

Examples of leading and managing health and safety projects within multiply sites is advantageous. Knowledge and experience of OHSAS 18001 and food safety is desirable. Outstanding report writing and strong investigation skills are required.

You will have the ability to work on your own Initiative and as part of a team. You will have fantastic communications skills and the ability to be empathetic. You will be target driven and always striving for improvement with a determined attitude.

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of a NEBOSH Diploma Certificate, NCRQ or equivalent and you will ideally hold a minimum of Grad IOSH status. Preferably working towards CMIOSH.

A UK driving licence is essential and the ability to be flexible and travel to various locations throughout the southern regions of the UK is key.
