My client, a leading rail specialist are looking for a QEHS Manager. Having just won a two year framework on the London Underground, they will be looking for an experienced Quality, Environmental and Safety Manager for 12 months (initially).

The Role:

- To ensure implementation of the HSEQ Management System relevant to the companies business operations.
- To promote a positive safety culture.
- To ensure all EHS legislation, customer and stakeholder safety requirements and best practice within the rail industry is recognised and all relevant policies and safe working procedures and practices are adopted.
- To promote all QHSE training for managers and employees.
- To complete site inspections, audits, method statements and risk assessments.
- Produce QHSE KPI reports to demonstrate continuous improvements.
- Attend weekly internal and external safety meetings.

The Candidate:

- Experience of QHSE management on similar projects.
- Good working knowledge of EHS legislation.
- LUL, Crossrail or other major rail project experience.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and IT based document management systems.
- GradIOSH (working towards CMIOSH status).

The appropriate candidate will likely be paid up to £400/day for at least 12 months. With above market average rates and with plenty of scope for further work this would be an excellent opportunity for anyone with Rail experience looking to reach the pinnacle of their career.
