A national Health and Safety Consultancy working across H&S, Employment Law and HR throughout a broad industry base are looking for a Health & Safety Research and Development Officer to join their team. Working directly underneath the client's H&S Associate Director, this role will be focused on assisting the internal H&S team in researching new and existing sectors that they already (or have the potential to) operate in, so as to develop documentation and content for training, online and core services. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious graduate/ newly qualified professional to expand their knowledge, with a rapidly growing and dynamic team.

The Role:
  • Researching subjects and sectors as requested in order to provide documentation including reports, risk assessments, and safe systems of work;
  • Updating online Health & Safety product and website;
  • Developing new risk assessments, policies, Safe Systems of Work, and Safe Operating Practices;
  • Developing new content for online training systems.
The Candidate:
  • Qualified to BSc or NEBOSH General Certificate level;
  • Able to demonstrate some experience of H&S practice in a similar role;
  • Good communication skills and strong IT Competence.
