Health & Safety Manager
Your new role
Working for an external building refurbishment company with a reputation for working on prestigious projects with architectural and historical significance including Grade I and II listed buildings. Your new role as health and safety manager is to ensure the application of the company's health and safety policies and procedures. This is a standalone role where you will be required to provide advice and guidance to senior management and sub-contractors on best practice. You will ensure compliance on all sites including health and safety files as well as CDM regulations. You will regularly carry out site inspections/audits and from this gather information to recommend areas of improvement. You will also identity health and safety training needs as well as deliver safety inductions. You will maintain the company's current 18001 accreditation and help to implement 14001 and 9001. You will be based out of the companies office in West London and cover multiple sites across London.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate for this role will preferably be a minimum of a graduation IOSH member with previous experience in the refurbishment/construction industries. My client will consider motivated candidates that have the minimum of the NEBOSH certificate and previous construction experience that are looking to develop their skills because they are willing to invest in your development. You should be based commutable to West London and be able to cover the region (London).
