Regional Health & Safety Advisor
Your new role
Working for a main contractor in the area that work on a variety of different projects across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Projects include a variety of new build, demolition, refurbishment etc. with projects in up to £15 million in value. This is a regional health and safety advisor role due to growth within the business, covering the region with three offices you can choose to be based out of. Your responsibilities will include managing the health and safety for a number of projects across the region by providing advice and guidance to senior management. You will be responsible of carrying out site inspections and audits. As well as putting together risk assessments and method statement's. You will be involved with delivering company training and environmental management (waste). Additional responsibilities will include collating pre-construction information and providing advice on CDM.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate for this role will hold the minimum of the NEBOSH certificate (preferably construction). Previous experience in a construction health and safety role is preferred however, the client is open to considering 'entry level' candidates. Any additional certificates including crane appointed person will be beneficial. You must be able to drive and hold a full UK driving license.
