The City of London Corporation is recruiting for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor (People) to promote and support high standards in health, safety and wellbeing management by implementing best practice, providing technical and advisory support and ensuring that policies and procedures are observed across the City Corporation.

Based at our iconic Guildhall headquarters, your remit will range from analysing and defining health, safety and wellbeing issues to recommending solutions and providing business-focused advice. We are looking for a skilled communicator who can deliver information clearly to a variety of stakeholders with an engaging and diplomatic approach. Working as part of a small team, you will be an excellent problem solver and will have strong IT skills. You will seek to keep up to date with legislative changes and changes in best practice.

You will deputise for the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager (People), as necessary, and continually identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of protecting all aspects of the City of London Corporation.

You will have experience of advising on health and safety in a business environment. You will ideally hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification and be a Technical Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Tech IOSH). Experience on advising on health and safety in schools would be desirable, but is not essential for the role.
