A new position has arisen within the Health and Safety Team for a Health and Safety Advisor.  The Advisor will be responsible to the Senior Health and Safety Advisor to help deliver our health and safety strategy and for all aspects of service delivery.

You will provide technical advice and support services with regard to a range of health and safety subjects including but not limited to accident/incident reporting, approved contractor lists, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, DSE assessments, DSE eyesight tests, manual handling, fire risk assessment, asbestos management, construction design & management, first aid at work, fire marshals, sharps, stress management, dealing with verbal and physical abuse and estate inspections. 

The Health and Safety Advisor will provide support and guidance to enable Homes for Haringey to discharge its duties in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and associated legislation.

The Advisor will ensure appropriate advice is provided to senior management, project managers, operational staff, co-ordinators and support staff on any issue relating to health and safety.

The role requires a candidate with excellent written and communication skills and use of their own vehicle.
