Health and Safety Advisor
Assured Safety Recruitment have been engaged by a successful and growing not-for-profit group seeking to appoint a Group Health and Safety Advisor. Headquartered in the West Midlands the group are one of the largest providers in their specialist field. The Group’s overall reward package positively reflects who they are as an employer and you will be given the training and support you need to shine in your role.
You will provide advice and support to line managers across the Group to assist them with compliance with the Group Health and Safety Policy and Key Procedures and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. You will also monitor compliance with workplace related Health and Safety legislation, current good practice and safe systems of work and produce reports where applicable. In addition you will conduct auditing and provide administrative and organisational support to the Safety Group.
You will be qualified to a minimum of the Nebosh Certificate and have worked previously in a health and safety advisory capacity. You will have experience of accident investigations and supporting managers through risk assessments. You will have an enthusiastic and enabling approach with excellent organisational skills. Any experience within the public sector, not-for-profit, corporate or charity sector would be useful but is not essential. Additionally facilities management, property or construction experience would be advantageous but again, is not essential.
