Assistant Health and Safety Advisor
Assistant Health and Safety Advisor/Health and Safety Administrator - Construction - Leeds/West Yorkshire - £18-£22k+package - excellent opportunity to progress a full time Health and Safety career within a forward thinking and established construction business.
This role would suit a Health and Safety Graduate or someone who has recently completed a Degree in Health and Safety, or a NEBOSH qualification (ideally Diploma-level although NEBOSH Cert/Construction cert considered), who is well-organised and keen to develop into a site-based Health and Safety Advisor on a fast-tracked path within a well-established and respected team.
The role will involve:-
Updating the system to ensure legal compliance in line with the organisations Health and Safety policies and procedures
Producing reports detailing Health and Safety performance and diarising any follow up action reminders for the Health and Safety team, supporting a culture of continuous improvement
Completing data entry and associated database management from accident investigation reports provided by the team
Lodging any insurance claims as required and uploading associated documentation to the system
Ad hoc administration support to the team as required
Support on site visits and inspections
The ideal candidate will possess:
Knowledge of Health and Safety terminology
NEBOSH or equivalent Health and Safety-related qualification
Membership of IOSH at Affiliate or Tech level
Full driving licence
