H&S Manager (manufacturing)
A global manufacturer are looking to recruit a permanent H&S manager for their site in Preston. Up to £50K
Your new company
A company based close to Preston that manufacture and package products that are distributed globally. The company has almost doubled in size over recent years and are looking for someone to lead their H&S function.
Your new role
You will be responsible for all health and safety within this busy factory. You will be involved in implementing and developing and number of policies and and strategic procedures to ensure maximum compliance throughout the business. You will be required to influence the behaviours and cultures of the entire workforce and ensure everyone works to a standard that ensures that losses are to a minimum, occupational health problems are eliminated and accidents and injuries are prevented. You will be expected to hit the ground running, be an operational, hands on leader.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need the following to be considered for this role - Minimum NEBOSH General and Tech IOSH with good experience within a fast paced manufacturing facility. You will also be able to communicate to all levels including directors and have a drive and passion to make a better working environment.
It would be highly beneficial if you were NEBOSH Diploma or CMIOSH accredited with experience in DSEAR risk assessments. Please note that these are desirable.
