HSE recruitment are currently exclusively working with a leading waste and recycling company on the recruitment of a HSE Manager. This role is offered on a day rate basis for roughly 3 months.
As a HSE Manager you would be responsible for three sites across Nottingham and the Midlands of varying size and complexity. You will work operationally to address key concerns and issues and to work closely with the engineering team in a journey of continuous improvement. You will lead audit and inspections and will work closely with the team and operational workers to implement best safety practice. You will lead SHEQ meetings with key people within the company and produce monthly reports to ensure that the management team have access to current and in depth information. The role will ideally be based from Nottingham but travel is required across the Midlands.
You will ideally have a background in a fast paced production environment such as waste, food manufacturing, automotive or nuclear and will have demonstrable and extensive experience of working in a hands on manner, and leading a team. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent is required as a minimum although NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent would be desirable (but not essential).
In return you will receive a day rate of £260 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications).
