Health and Safety Officer - Leisure
A unique opportunity for a qualified health and safety professional to join a vibrant and bustling organisation within the leisure sector. This role would be well suited to a candidate with previous experience in H&S event management and crowd control. Ideally you will have a strong background in operational management of health and safety at sizable events within large scale venues.
If you are an accomplished health and safety specialist who is searching for a new opportunity with the prospect of growing as a Health & Safety professional alongside the planned growth of the company who have recently received enormous investment then this is the role for you.
This is the perfect opportunity for a candidate who has a solid background in reviewing, developing and implementing safety management systems and who enjoys a varied role with a site/office split.
The successful candidate must have strong working knowledge of fire regulations 2015 ideally within an events environment, ensuring that all safety inspections are carried out including fire drill and fire alarms.
Key responsibilities will include, developing H&S policies and procedures, maintaining Health and Safety training records, audits, accident investigations and near misses, risk assessments, liaising with external bodies, providing regular reports for senior management, leading and managing health and safety meetings and improving health and safety performance across the board.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate, NCRQ or equivalent and you will ideally hold a minimum of TECH IOSH status.
