Exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Advisor to join the UK’s largest manufacturer and distributor of packaging products. Reporting to Operations Director you will focus on providing advice and support on all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental related matters, acting as a key point of contact on site. You will drive the development and implementation of the HSQE strategy focused on legal compliance and the needs of the business. Through the development of relationships across the business, you will ensure all customer requirements are exceeded whilst leading the development of an HSQE culture.
You must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience gained within a similar professional HSQE Advisory role. A working background within a manufacturing environment would be preferable. You will certainly need to hold the minimum IOSH Managing Safely certificate or equivalent and be NEBOSH accredited.
The main remit and focus of this role is to ensure that the site operates and adheres to the companies Health, Safety and Environmental Policies. You will act as a local Health and Safety representative and continually review the Health and Safety system for improvements in the organisation. Ensuring that the Company’s safety system is communicated across the business. As the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Advisor you will lead the creation of SOP’s and develop processes.
