Your new company
Highly regarded logistics firm which operate across the UK and Ireland are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Coordinator for a brand new site in Staffordshire. They operate across various sectors and due to year on year growth and continued success, they are expanding.
Your new role
You will become part of a brand new site, acting as lead Health and Safety Coordinator making sure the site is fully compliant in all areas of Health and Safety. You will promote and encourage employees well being and health programmes, making sure there is a prominent focus on the environment and engagement. You will identify risk, implement an appropriate action plan and ensure corrective measures are put in place.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have previous experience as a Health and Safety officer/coordinator within a warehouse or logistics environment. You will have a good working knowledge of health and safety and be able to communicate and influence management teams. You will be a forward thinker, looking to promote positive health and safety engagement. You must hold a NEBOSH general certificate as a minimum.
