Health and Safety Adviser

We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Adviser to be based at Dysons Chambers, Leeds City Centre on a Permanent contract for 35 hours per week.

The main purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive health and safety advice and guidance to assist the Corporate Health and Safety Manager in enabling Yorkshire Housing to meet its obligations under health and safety legislation.

As a member of the Health and Safety team, you will share responsibility for delivery of health and safety objectives within the remit of the team. Aspects of your role will include you to lead cross-departmental project groups where required and ensure projects are achieved on time and to a high standard, within budgets and meeting key performance indicators.

You will also be expected to work closely with YH contracts, partners and constructors by conducting annual health and safety assessments annually and also carrying out onsite inspections. 

As a Health and Safety Adviser, it will be your duty to investigate accidents and/or dangerous occurrences, ensuring approved recommendations are implemented and making recommendations.
