As a result we are looking to expand the HS&E team with a number of new and exciting opportunities throughout the group to ensure HS&E remains a top priority for the business.

Following continued growth and development of the business, there is also a need to support this growth with a sustainable HS&E future. As a result we are looking to expand the HS&E team with a number of new and exciting opportunities throughout the group to ensure HS&E remains a top priority for the business. This role will manage a team of HS&E Managers and motivate and inspire a positive HS&E culture and to lead the wider business and HS&E team to aspire to safety and environmental excellence through development and coaching opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a dynamic and driven approach to promoting and supporting HS&E across the group and its divisions.
  • Be an ambassador for HS&E and promote “out of the box” thinking which enables solutions to problems to be identified and implemented effectively throughout the business.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of HS&E Managers to ensure they proactively support their divisions and senior management teams on a day to day basis
  • Responsible for personal development and coaching of HS&E managers, Trainees and Assistants.  Ensuring there are structured development plans in place
  • Identify development opportunities to promote safer, more efficient ways of working
  • Support the local divisions with developing their own HS&E action plans and strategies for development and improvement
  • Future development of a Group behavioural HS&E Programme.
