This is an exciting opportunity for a CMIOSH SHEQ Manager to drive positive change on areas such as - company policy - by reviewing Health & Safety culture, maintaining accreditation compliance and looking strategically at the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality goals for this expanding business over the coming years.

As a multi divisional contractor with a growing portfolio of works ranging from £100k to £11 million, your background will demonstrate a proven track record across a broad range of sectors from construction and civils. The role will see you visiting multiple sites across the North West and Yorkshire. These site visits will include site inspection and reviews with complete autonomy to priorities your own workload. It is likely to be three days on site and a couple of days in the office each week

The role will have a bias towards day to day site safety, environmental and accreditation elements and policy across the organisations workforce. The positions requires a Chartered Health and Safety Professional or someone working towards with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent who has a broad knowledge of civil & construction sites. The role will also encompass Auditing to ISO 9001/14001 & 18001. 

You will be entrusted to develop long term strategy to improve the competitiveness and effectiveness of the business, implementing the company SHEQ culture. Qualifications & Memberships requirements: CMIOSH or working towards, Diploma Safety, Environmental Management, IEMA (Desirable), integrated management systems. Ref: VP2890 SH
