A manufacturing organisation based in Ellesmere Port. Stand alone H&S manager. Perm role. Circa £40K

Your new company
An expanding manufacturing organisation with multiple sites. The company was formed in the early 90's and has continually been moving forwards. This particular site was acquired by the organisation in 2015. The company have good order levels to work to and business seems very strong.

Your new role
As HSE manager you will report directly into the site manager and be responsible for working alongside him to create a safe environment. This is a stand alone role and will be varied from day to day but will include periodic reviews of management systems (ISO 9001 & 14001) You will also be required to make sure all documentation is up to date and readily available, this includes RAMS, H&S policy, SWP's, SOP's and reporting of KPI's. You will assist in inducting new starters to the business and work with managers to ensure their teams are continually working to a safer culture. You will be leading audits and contribute to the continuous improvement plans for the site. you will work with the business in improving the environmental element of the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
As this is a stand alone role you must have experience within manufacturing organisations to be considered. You will be a confident, influential leader with good academic qualification level to include NEBOSH certificate. You must have worked in a senior position with the H&S sector and have experience with creating and implementing environmental improvements.
