A highly-involved position working for a multi-faceted organisation who seek an experienced civil engineering / utilities HSEQ Advisor to join them at this exciting chapter.   The role will be split across office base in in Central Scotland and national site visits.

Minimum TechIOSH with NEBOSH construction Certificate. 

The successful candidate will be an accomplished Health and Safety specialist with a collaborative and analytical approach and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders. 

You will be required to undertake monthly HSQE site inspections, this may vary depending on the risks. Undertake incident investigations, analyse tends through incidents, audits and inspections and present findings and recommendations to business units.

The client is ideally looking for candidates with solid understanding of; large new build utility projects, civils, electrical and mechanical engineering safety bias. 

Your daily tasks will include; guidance and advice to management, engineers, field based operatives and corporate office staff on H&S compliance and risk management.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in behavioural safety, working at heights and heavy lifting.

Previous experience designing and delivering training would also be beneficial.

Systems experience ISO 9001 and 14001 and OHSAS 18001 is also desired.

Industry sector experience considered by the client will be; engineering, M&E, Civils, Construction, telecommunications, energy or utilities.
