Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
SHE Manager role available at a leading advertising company, based in London with frequent UK wide travel.

Our client is a multinational company, market leader in the advertising sector. A big part of their business is in the Rail and Transportation industries. In order to expand the HSE team, they are currently recruiting for a Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Manager.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of SHEQ, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of company's Health, Safety and Environment responsibilities in the Regional Service Delivery Operations, involving company's Bus and Network Rail business.
You will work closely with the Operational Management team, to support their improvement of HSE performance through effective communication, direction, awareness and encouragement to achieve compliance to standards and year-on-year improvements in performance.
On daily basis you will audit that all staff are sufficiently trained and competent in their HSE responsibilities; you will provide support and direction to ensure that the company meets the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Standards and RISQS accreditation.
You will make sure HSE policies and procedures, including risk assessments and method statements, are fit for the purpose and effectively applied to ensure the health and safety of our and customer employees, contractors, visitors and members of the public who may be effected by the company's activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in managing HS&E in a highly regulated environment such as the rail network; experience of audit methodology and of ensuring ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS18001 accreditation; a degree in Health & Safety or equivalent education.
You will also need to be flexible on location and willing to travel nationwide.
