Retail Health and Safety Manager

The successful candidate
Previous experience within a Health and Safety management position within a retail environment is ideal. The ability to converse with people at all levels including key stakeholders is key. A background in attending store visits is essential.
You will be confident working in a fast paced environment with solid experience in developing and implementing H&S management systems. A proven track record in promoting H&S standards at a high level is required.
This is the ideal position for a candidate who has strong experience in carrying out risk assessments, accident investigations, safety inspections, creating and delivering H&S training, routine audits and promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the business.
You will have excellent engaging and influencing skills and the ability to be able to manage your own time, multi-task and prioritise.

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of the NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ or equivalent and a minimum of five year’s hands on H&S experience, including 3 years retail health and safety experience. A relevant food safety qualification is advantageous.
Ideally you will hold a graduate membership with IOSH and a UK driving licence is essential and the ability to travel to various locations throughout the UK is key.
