Health & Safety Advisor - Multi-site Manufacturer
Exciting multi-site opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to become an integral part of this highly successful group, working with a diverse range of clients and household names.
As the Health and Safety Advisor you will report to the Group Head of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance. You will be responsible for all Health and Safety of the sites, mitigating risk and ensuring all areas of the business are Health and Safety compliant, by advising operational and departmental leads. This role requires the incumbent to provide mentoring and Health and Safety advice to employees at all levels.
The incumbent will ensure that the services and products meet the highest standards and that the activities are undertaken in a way which delivers world class safety and environmental performance. This includes Health and Safety behavioural culture and promoting pro-active mentoring of risk through the effective identification of hazards, those at risk, evaluation of potential control solutions, prioritised management action & worker involvement.
You will need proven experience of working in a manufacturing environment with experience of advising Health and Safety in a manufacturing or engineering environment. As well as experience of developing, implementing and continuously improving management systems in line with ISO accreditation requirements. With knowledge and experience of ISO 14001, 18001, 9001. You must be qualified to NEBOSH general level.
You will have detailed knowledge and experience of health and safety compliance requirements for a manufacturing organisation, including paint plant and engineering environments. Workplace transport and machine safety is a key focus for this position.
