Large Housing Association require an experienced and passionate Health and Safety Officer.

Your Opportunity:

A large Housing Association have an exciting role for an experienced Health and Safety Officer with a passion for creating improvements within an organisation. Based in Merton, South West London, you will cover locations in the London and Midlands regions, providing operational health and safety support to the business.

You will work as the regional QA for inspections, carry out internal audits, as well as risk assessments and accident reporting and investigations. Your role will require reviewing regional office and housing estates, as well as contractor works and development of planned sites.

A key part of your new role is driving statistical analysis of health and safety issues across the organisation to identify accident, incident and RIDDOR trends and report these back to senior leadership teams through both presentations and formal written reports. You will be required to identify opportunities for mitigating these issues and possible solution implementation.

What you'll need to succeed:

You will need to be happy to travel and work autonomously, as well as have strong enough experience to undertake a range of health, safety and risk functions through to completion. A good knowledge of housing would be useful but not essential.

You will be comfortable with statistical analysis, report writing and presenting to senior management teams, as well as being solutions focused and able to communicate well at varying levels.

You must hold a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum, as well as a p405.
