As the Health and Safety Advisor your key areas of responsibility will be the delivery of tailored services to every client, building strong working partnerships to sustain long term relationships. You will be working with small businesses all the way through to blue chip organisations across a wide range of industries, carrying out all aspects of the consultancy service such as compliance audits, reviewing and advising on risk assessments, site visits, accident/incident investigations, policy reviews as well as providing general advice and support.
Professionalism and confidence building with clients is critical, so ideally you will be a chartered member of IOSH, however working towards CMIOSH at Grad or Tech levels will be considered if accompanied with advisory experience particularly within the construction industry.
Another key responsibility will be the delivery of Scaffold Inspection Service, you will be required to carry out scaffold inspections, completing the inspection reports to a high standard and reporting back to the client within the defined inspection service levels. Experience of working with scaffolding either through inspecting or erecting is essential; a valid Scaffolder or Supervisor CISRS card will be a distinct advantage.
In addition to the above, there will be the opportunity to get involved with developing the company service offering to help shape the future of the business.
To be considered for the Health and Safety Advisor position you must be qualified to NEBOSH Construction level, NEBOSH General advantageous, but this on its own will not be enough, you must have Construction. You will hold a CISRS Card and Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH)
