Health, Safety, Environmental and FM Manager                                                  

Exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environmental and FM Manager to join a globally respected high tech major manufacturing organisation to become an integral part of this forward moving company. Rapidly expanding year on year this is a great time to join an innovative organisation working in a very technical and complex environment.

As the Health, Safety, Environmental and FM Manager you will be responsible for driving the business culture, working with the Senior Management team to create a quality culture across the organisation through effective QEHS systems.

The successful Health, Safety, Environmental and FM Manager must be qualified to degree level in an engineering or scientific discipline with at least five years regulatory compliance management systems experience, ideally in an internationally instrumentation manufacturing company operating with subsidiaries and global manufacturing sites.

Reporting into the Operations Director you will be responsible for the implementation and updates of ISO9001 and ISO14001 in all certified sites and the implementation of ISO45001 upon replacement of ISO18001. To do this you must have detailed knowledge of all management systems; ISO9001, 14001 and 18001.

You will champion the quality culture and lead associated changes across the organisation, identifying and installing management system representatives at each certified site. Whilst monitoring current standards and modifying existing documentation to support changes to those standards.

You will implement and maintain an externally provided Health, Safety and Environmental training programme to support e-learning modules, whilst monitoring and maintaining all Health, Safety and environmental global e-learning programmes.

The impact of this role is to ensure company efficiency, market growth and regulatory/legislation compliance. You will define global regulatory policies with support of the Board whilst working independently to achieve business goals.
