Health, Safety and Security Manager - Events - 6 Months FTC
An exciting opportunity for a dynamic Health and Safety professional to join an interesting organisation within the events sector. This role will be well suited to a candidate with previous events health and safety experience within the exhibition field.
This is the ideal role for somebody who has a strong experience with risk assessments, method statements and events safety plans during pre-events and delivery stage.
The successful candidate will have good working knowledge of Health, Safety and Security management strategies and the ability to work closely with operation managers and liaise with contractors, supplier and venue management on a multi-site basis.
Key responsibilities will include developing and delivering health and safety training, writing and auditing event management plans, being the point of contact for all safety related matters for the company, leading safety management and supporting projects with onsite safety advice.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate, NCRQ or equivalent and you will ideally have events experience, particular in exhibitions.
A UK driving licence is essential and the ability to be flexible and travel to various locations nationally and internally is key. Might include overnight stays and travelling abroad.
