We are working with a leading aircraft component manufacturer in the West Midlands, who are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to support their team for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

 

The Role:

  • Maintaining and promoting the current positive HSE culture through collaborative working
  • Ensuring the company is compliant with all HSE legal and regulatory requirements and best practice
  • Providing advice and support on HSE Management issues across the site
  • Maintain the General Risk Assessment Process, Emergency Procedures and Action Plan, Incident Reporting and Hygiene Programme
  • Advise upon HSE training needs from induction onwards, organise external training, and deliver in-house training as required

The Candidate:

  • Must have considerable HSE Management experience within a complex manufacturing environment
  • Must be NEBOSH qualified or equivelant
  • Must have recent knowledge and experience of Environmental Management Systems (such as ISO14001)
  • Must have a hands-on attitude, and the ability to build good relationships from the shop floor to senior management
